Riverbank House is a unique 3-storey house directly fronting the River Stour in Christchurch. The south facing garden enjoys sunshine from dawn till dusk. It is the ideal holiday spot for families sharing a break.
The
town centre is approximately 10 minutes walk along the river. A
local ferry is available for trips to Mudeford and the sandy beach of
Hengistbury Head. Small boats can be hired along the river for a
family outing.
The beautiful award winning town of Christchurch is a mixture of old and new with a magnificent priory dating back to 1094. There is an abundance of both unusual and well-known shops with many excellent eating places. Bournemouth is just 6 miles away with its miles of sandy beaches and first class entertainment. Take a trip in an open top bus, which stops only 50 yards from the house and sample incredible views from the famous tethered helium balloon. Should you wish for quieter pursuits, the New Forest is within a few miles of Christchurch with numerous country walks and cycle rides. |
